As an AI Engineer – OpenAI & Azure Cloud Specialist, you will design and develop innovative AI solutions leveraging OpenAI models and Azure services. You’ll build scalable applications, optimize AI performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful technology.

You will contribute to the full lifecycle of AI-driven solutions, from concept to deployment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results tailored to client needs. Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end AI use-cases.

• Rapidly prototype AI solutions, including UX and prompt engineering.

• Develop and integrate solutions using Azure OpenAI and other Azure services.

• Write clean, well-documented code and maintain up-to-date documentation.

• Work closely with developers, designers, and product owners to translate client needs into scalable AI solutions.

• Stay on top of the latest developments in AI and machine learning and apply them to real-world use cases.

• Define and co-create AI use cases with stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.

• Educate internal teams and clients on generative AI applications and best practices.

• Ensure AI complexity is aligned with the business value of the use cases.

• Participate in knowledge sharing, code reviews, and development best practices.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a creative and hands-on AI expert with a strong drive for innovation. Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related fields.

• Practical experience in developing AI solutions, particularly using OpenAI and large language models (LLMs).

• Solid understanding of GPT-based models, their tuning, and applications.

• Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks (e.g. OpenAI Agent SDK, MCP tools).

• Experience with Azure AI services, Python programming, and RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with cloud architecture (Azure Functions, SQL databases).

• Understanding of BI processes, ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Strong skills in prompt engineering and rapid prototyping.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• DevOps and software development best practices experience.

• Fluent in English, with a working knowledge of French and Dutch.
