Algorithm Architect

As a key player in the Engineering consultancy sector, we're looking for a talented Algorithm Architecture Engineer to join our team and support an ambitious production and product development roadmap. About the role

Join our team as an Algorithm Architecture Engineer and take ownership of sustaining and advancing MATLAB/SIMULINK algorithm development. This role involves working on integrated targeting logic, control systems, and precision modeling frameworks. Contributions directly support the robustness, maintainability, and ongoing evolution of mission-critical algorithmic software.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical owner of MATLAB/SIMULINK algorithms used in simulation and targeting logic

• Oversee development, version control, and configuration management of algorithm codebases

• Establish and enforce coding standards and software architecture guidelines

• Collaborate with algorithm developers and system engineers to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization

• Conduct regular code reviews, validation, and verification of algorithm implementations

• Manage updates, bug fixes, and continuous improvements aligned with project priorities

• Support documentation efforts and promote knowledge sharing across the team

What we're looking for

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

• Extensive hands-on experience with MATLAB and SIMULINK for developing and maintaining complex simulation models

• Strong background in GNC algorithms and simulation

• Proficient in software engineering practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN), configuration management, and code optimization

• Deep understanding of software architecture principles and best practices for building modular, reusable codebases

• Experienced in algorithm verification and validation within simulation environments

• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with a track record of effective collaboration in multidisciplinary teams

• Fluent in English, with knowledge of French
