About the role

As an Algorithm Simulation Engineer, you’re being part of our multidisciplinary engineering team. Your primary focus is on designing, developing, and qualifying new algorithms and systems. This role involves supporting multiple projects, utilizing Model-Based-Design methods to improve product performance through simulations and live tests.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance algorithms and control laws for guidance, navigation, and control systems.

  • Test and evaluate algorithm performance using Monte-Carlo simulations.

  • Perform algorithm validation and verification (V&V) for updates and new designs.

  • Participate in trials and analyze test data to ensure optimal system performance.

  • Model physical behaviours and conduct simulations to guide development and technical decisions.

Job requirements

What we're looking for

We seek a candidate with the following qualifications and competencies:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Aeronautics, Mathematics, Physics, or Electronics.

  • 3–10 years of professional experience in an engineering environment.

  • Strong mathematical and statistical skills, with the ability to analyse large data volumes.

  • Excellent analytical and communication abilities.

  • Proficient in Matlab and Simulink for modeling and simulation.

  • Experience in aeronautical, space, defence, or automotive industries, with familiarity in standards such as DO-178, ARP4754, and ISO26262
