ASIC Project Manager

About the role

In this role, you will take ownership of the launch of new ASIC products, from initial design to largescale production. Coordinate the planning, supplier coordination, test and qualification activities, ensuring successful product release within scope, budget, and timeline.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the integrated project schedule from concept to volume production, including milestone tracking, risk management, and cross-functional alignment.

• Oversee package design (mechanical and thermal design, pin-out definition, substrate selection, reliability considerations) and assembly process flows such as bumping, bonding, molding, and substrate attach.

• Coordinate ATE program development, test hardware definition, coverage optimization, and yield ramp strategy in close collaboration with design and manufacturing teams.

• Ensure execution of reliability testing including HTOL, ESD, latch-up, temperature cycling, and compliance with industry standards such as JEDEC.

• Define project scope, monitor supplier performance and costs, manage change control, and proactively mitigate technical and supply chain risks.

• Ensure DFM/DFT alignment, yield stabilization, and structured handover to volume manufacturing.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager with a background in ASIC development. An ideal candidate will have:

• A master's degree in electronics engineering with min 5y working experience in project leadership role for ASIC products, including stakeholder alignment and risk management.

• Hands-on experience with ASIC R&D processes, like test development (ATE programs, test hardware, yield ramp methodologies).

• Strong understanding of ASIC qualification flows and reliability standards (HTOL, ESD, latch-up, temperature cycling, JEDEC).

• Experience working with external semiconductor manufacturing and assembly partners.

• Strong leadership and communication skills in English with the ability to drive cross-functional teams toward project milestones.
