About the role

Join us as a Business Intelligence Developer and make an impact in the high-tech industry! As a Business Intelligence Developer at Verotech, you will manage all incidents, change requests, and small project requests in the BI context. You will be responsible for creating or changing ETL processes, tables, job schedulers, performing one-shot extractions, creating or changing reports, and conducting tests.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and modify ETL processes using AWS Glue, Python, and SQL.

• Create and manage tables and job schedulers.

• Perform one-shot data extractions and generate reports using SSRS.

• Conduct thorough testing to ensure data accuracy and performance.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Maintain version control using GIT and automate workflows with Jenkins.

• Provide support and troubleshooting for BI-related issues.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a motivated leader with a passion for recruitment and team management. Here’s what we need:

• At least 5 years of experience as a BI Developer, preferably with knowledge of the insurance sector.

• Proficiency in Python, AWS Glue (ETL), SQL, GIT, PowerShell, SSRS, and Jenkins.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.

• Full professional proficiency in English, with professional working proficiency in French and/or Dutch being a plus.
