About the role

As a VeroTech consultant, you manage complex cloud, infrastructure and HPC projects from planning to operational acceptance. You coordinate initiatives involving cloud services, HPC platforms, secure compute environments, infrastructure modernization, integrations and migrations.

You act as the central link between business or research stakeholders and technical teams. Your focus is on clear scope, realistic delivery, aligned ownership and practical risk management across architecture, security, procurement, operations and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage integrated project plans covering scope, deliverables, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, quality and acceptance criteria

• Lead cloud, HPC, secure compute, infrastructure modernization, integration and migration projects

• Coordinate business, research, ICT, architecture, security, procurement, operational and external partner stakeholders

• Align service ownership, support responsibilities, acceptance criteria and the operational model

• Identify delivery risks by connecting technical, security and operational realities with stakeholder needs

What we're looking for

You are an experienced project manager who combines technical understanding with strong coordination skills and a pragmatic, outcome-oriented approach.

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• 8+ years of proven experience managing complex cloud, infrastructure, platform, datacenter or HPC-related projects is mandatory

• Strong planning, organization, coordination and risk-management skills, with a pragmatic and outcome-oriented mindset

• Understanding of cloud, HPC, infrastructure and secure environments; experience with cloud adoption, platform modernization, compute-intensive or highly secure environments is an advantage

• Fluency in English is mandatory, with a good level of Dutch
