Data Warehouse & BI Expert

We're looking for a skilled Data Warehouse & BI Expert to enhance our growing data warehouse and BI team. Our state-of-the-art data warehouse is built on Data Vault 2.0 principles, complemented by a BI implementation using Power BI.

About the role

In this role, you’ll be an integral part of our data team, focusing on optimizing and maintaining our data warehouse and business intelligence systems. You’ll work in a dynamic environment that utilizes advanced methodologies and technologies to deliver actionable insights and streamline decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize and maintain our data warehouse infrastructure.

• Develop and enhance ETL processes.

• Perform expert-level data analysis.

• Manage operational database maintenance.

• Implement best practices for reporting using Power BI.

• Collaborate on project management tasks to ensure timely delivery of data solutions.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate is someone with proven expertise in ETL, data analysis, and maintaining operational databases, and is skilled in:

• Expert-level data analysis skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets

• Proficiency in ETL processes and data integration techniques

• Confirmed experience in Kimball data modeling for robust dimensional data structures

• Advanced expertise in Power BI, delivering impactful dashboards and visualizations

• Expert-level SQL skills for querying, transformation, and reporting

• Proven project management experience, overseeing timelines, resources, and deliverables

• Experience with COBOL, to support and maintain legacy systems

• Fluency in Dutch, English and French
