About the role

You'll be at the forefront of implementing and validating innovative DFT techniques on SOCs and sub-systems. Your expertise will define timing constraints for DFT test modes and manage the insertion of boundary scans, compression, MBIST-R (epair), and OPCG (OCC) for advanced low-power designs. Generate test patterns, enhance fault coverage, and support post-silicon test pattern debugging. Collaborate closely with the physical design team to address timing violations and routing challenges, and work alongside test engineering for silicon validation.

Key responsibilities

• Architect DFT solutions for complex SOC designs.

• Coordinate and negotiate DFT requirements with project teams and clients.

• Implement and validate DFT techniques for critical systems.

• Define and manage timing constraints and test modes.

• Generate and debug test patterns to improve fault coverage.

• Collaborate with teams to tackle design and validation challenges.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital ASIC design and DFT insertion:

• 15+ years in digital ASIC design.

• 10+ years specializing in DFT insertion and ATPG.

• Fluency in Verilog or VHDL for test logic coding.

• Experience leading DFT projects with hierarchical DFT specifications.

• Expert knowledge in IEEE 1149.1, 1149.6, and 1687 (IJTAG) standards.

• Hands-on experience with advanced EDA tools like Genus, Modus, Tessent, and Synopsys.

• Proficiency in TCL and other scripting languages.
