About the role

As a Digital SoC Design Engineer, you will define concepts and architectures for next generation ICs for IoT, edge AI accelerator ICs and Health applications ICs. You take responsibility for design of high-performance, ultra-low-power digital signal processing modules.

Key responsibilities

• Develop digital architectures and handle RTL development for ASIC and FPGA.

• Make critical trade-offs for minimizing power consumption while optimizing performance and keeping costs low.

• Collaborate with the digital back-end team for synthesis and physical implementation.

• Engage in the verification process and experimentally validate and characterize your designs in a lab environment.

• Understand and translate customer needs into effective design solutions.

• Contribute to high-quality reports and ensure comprehensive documentation.

What we're looking for

We're seeking a skilled Digital IC Design Engineer with an MSc or PhD in electronics engineering and over 5 years of relevant experience.

You should excel in digital circuit design using (System) Verilog, and ideally have experience with:

• Hardware efficient AI accelerators

• Event-driven computing and multi-core systems

• Hardware modelling and CPU design

• Digital verification methodologies

• Achieving logic synthesis, timing analysis, and low-power design

• Scripting with TCL, Matlab, and Python

• Revision control systems like git Experience in FPGA development, using Cadence IC design tools, and C/SystemC knowledge are advantageous.
