Job description
As an E-Drive System Engineer, you'll contribute to enhancing the functionality and reliability of MHEV and PHEV products. This role demands autonomy, adaptability, and collaboration across various technical domains.
About the role
Support the serial engineering of our MHEV and PHEV e-drive products, while working independently and across mechanical, software, electrical, manufacturing, and validation teams.
Key responsibilities
Support serial life and continuous improvement activities for e-drive systems.
Coordinate structured issue analysis for field returns, warranty issues, and system failures.
Conduct analysis using CAN/LIN traces and evaluate motor/inverter behaviour.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical integration engineers and software calibration teams.
Support updates and homologation impacts related to Euro 7 regulations.
Lead or support problem-solving workshops utilizing 8D/Six Sigma methodologies.
Monitor and ensure system requirements.
Job requirements
What we're looking for
We're seeking an engineer with a strong technical background in electric machine systems, power electronics or controls. The ideal candidate will also have:
System engineering experience with mechatronic automotive systems.
Proficiency in signal and data analysis (including dynamic behaviour and inverter parameters).
Experience validating and debugging systems in bench or vehicle environments.
Understanding of embedded software structure and calibration workflows.
Experience with tools such as Polarion, the CAN suite and MATLAB.
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or similar.
At least 3 years of experience in automotive or high-volume product development.
