Electrical Project Engineer

About the role

You’ll lead the transformation of a critical industrial site’s electrical systems, ensuring full compliance with AREI and IEC standards. Your expertise will directly influence safety, efficiency, and future-proofing of the infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

- Map all electrical circuits from transformers and distribution boards to end-users.

- Perform cable calculations and selectivity studies using CANECO.

- Correlate technical findings with high-voltage inspection results.

- Structure and complete the electrical dossier in compliance with standards.

- Provide support and guidance to the internal team.

What we're looking for

We are searching for a proactive engineer with a strong background in electromechanics or electrical engineering.

- Master degree in Electromechanics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

- Solid knowledge of electrical installations for both low and high voltage.

- Proven experience with CANECO and cable calculations.

- Understanding of compliance standards such as AREI or IEC.

- Analytical, structured, and excellent communication skills.

- Experience in industrial or automotive environments with a focus on compliance and safety standards.

- Native or bilingual proficiency in Dutch and fluency in English.
