About the role

As an Embedded Validation Engineer at VeroTech, you will define the validation approach for embedded systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards through meticulous planning and execution of tests. You will be integral in evaluating validation levels required and ensuring milestones are achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Define the Embedded validation approach (MIL/SIL/HIL, unit & integration, virtual validation) for your domain(s).

• Sign-off on the validation results for your domain at SOP or other milestones.

• Create and maintain Verification Plans, Specifications, and Reports.

• Ensure execution of part of the extended product design validation test plan and track milestone achievements.

• Support the organization with practical knowledge by providing work instructions.

• Convert abstract test needs into real test requests.

• Prepare, coordinate, perform data analysis, and report on development tests.

• Coordinate and reserve test environments, collaborating with software, HW, and supplier teams.

What we're looking for

We seek a professional with a Master’s in Automotive, EE, Mechatronics, or equivalent and at least 5 years of automotive experience.

• Strong embedded SW/HW validation experience (ECU, sensors, actuators)

• Experience with Hybrid Powertrains and Automatic Transmission is an advantage

• Experience in technically leading a team

• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with ISO 26262, ASPICE, UDS, XCP

• Proficiency with VECTOR CANape/CANalyzer, INCA, MATLAB/Simulink, HIL frameworks

• Strong communication skills and fluency in English
