About the role

The Engineering Delivery Manager is vital in ensuring the on-time and within-budget delivery of engineering projects. Your role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering projects that incorporate hardware, software, and system integration. You will build cohesive teams to conduct all R&T/R&D engineering activities. Managing cross-functional teams, including system engineers, software developers, and test engineers, is central to this role.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet on‑time delivery, quality, and budget commitments

  • Lead engineering project planning, coordination, and execution across all phases

  • Build and guide goal‑oriented teams to create an efficient and integrated engineering workflow

  • Manage cross‑functional collaboration across multiple technical disciplines

  • Improve project execution through advanced project management practices

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle

  • Define, monitor, and align project schedules with contractual and program requirements

  • Foster effective collaboration between local and international engineering teams

  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

  • Drive process optimization initiatives using Agile, V‑model, or hybrid methodologies

  • Maintain clear communication and structured reporting with stakeholders and customers

  • Manage engineering performance through Program Engineering KPIs

  • Support regulatory, certification, and safety compliance activities for product reliability

Job requirements

What we're looking for

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, with understanding of energetic and/or inert materials

  • Minimum of five years of experience in project management or technical leadership within engineering sectors such as aerospace, defence, or automotive

  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, system integration, and testing

  • Proven experience managing complex technical projects and multidisciplinary teams

  • Results‑driven mindset with strong cost awareness

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in highly regulated environments

  • Demonstrated proficiency in core project management areas (scope, stakeholder, resource, and risk management)

  • Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence

  • Knowledge of certification processes and quality frameworks

  • Fluency in French and English; German or Dutch is a plus
