FEA Automotive Engineer

To support our expanding development efforts at VeroTech, we're seeking an FEA Analysis specialist to temporarily join our team and bolster our capabilities.

About the role

You are an integral part of a large engineering team focused on developing cutting-edge mechatronic projects within the automotive industry, particularly in driveline transmission development. In the analysis team, you'll collaborate with colleagues to shape and validate designs through simulation, providing your expertise in mechanical calculations and FEA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute simulation tasks using your expertise and insights from the team's archives.

• Address modeling and simulation inquiries from various teams, ensuring all are efficiently tracked in a task management system.

• Tackle a broad spectrum of simulation scenarios, from optimization tools to complex system model assemblies.

• Handle simulations ranging from simple structural checks to advanced non-linear, dynamic, or multiphysics challenges using tools like Abaqus, Tosca, iSight, and Meshworks.

What we're looking for

• A Master's degree in engineering or a closely related field.

• Experience in mechanical calculations and FEA, with proficiency in Abaqus particularly valued.

• A structured approach to work, capable of operating independently while thriving in a team environment.

• Fluency in English, with knowledge of Dutch and/or German being advantageous.

• Strong communication skills and a proactive personality dedicated to technical understanding.
