About the Role

As a consultant at VeroTech, you will build a web application that supports internal procurement and public tendering processes. You will work within an Azure environment, delivering a solution with reliable authentication, well-founded architectural decisions, and a robust deployment approach. You will propose an appropriate technology stack, contribute to both front-end and back-end development, and integrate OIDC-based authentication and authorization. Throughout analysis, development, testing, and documentation, you will leverage AI and agentic programming in a responsible manner, ensuring quality, security, confidentiality, and traceability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a web application that supports internal public procurement and tendering processes.

• Propose an appropriate technology stack and justify your architectural choices.

• Implement the front-end, back-end, and hosting configuration within an Azure environment.

• Integrate OIDC-based authentication and authorization using the available identity service.

• Set up deployment and DevOps pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.

• Manage source code through an Azure DevOps Git repository.

• Apply AI and agentic programming in a controlled and responsible way throughout analysis, development, testing, and documentation.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an autonomous Senior Developer who can clearly justify technical decisions and deliver a high-quality web solution from end to end.

• You have a senior software development profile and the autonomy required to make and defend technical decisions.

• You have at least one year of seniority within your current organization.

• You have experience with hosting and configuring applications in Azure environments.

• You have hands-on experience setting up and maintaining front-end applications, back-end services, and deployment pipelines.

• Experience with .NET, single-page applications, JavaScript, or PHP is considered valuable for proposing the most suitable technology stack.

• You have experience with Azure DevOps and source code management through Git repositories.

• You apply AI and agentic programming responsibly, with a strong focus on quality assurance, security, confidentiality, and traceability.

• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English is required, together with excellent communication skills.

• You are comfortable working remotely and are willing to travel to an office in Belgium up to two days per week when required.
