Functional Analyst

About the role

As a Functional Analyst, you'll play a critical role in the strategic takeover and operational management of approximately thirty diverse business applications. These applications are quite diverse in terms of both business domain and technology. This also involves both maintaining existing systems and innovating through the development of new functionalities and reengineering efforts, ensuring alignment with current development standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough handover and takeover activities including documentation and application maintenance.

• Lead the reengineering and rewriting of applications.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth integration and operation.

• Coach and support new team members in understanding complex materials.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a candidate with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to quickly grasp complex subject matter. You should be a great team player and capable of integrating easily into existing teams. Other requirements we’re looking for:

• Strong functional and business analysis skills.

• Proficiency in abstracting complex matters and coaching newcomers.

• Experience with AGILE/SCRUM development techniques.

• Familiarity with standard development technologies (Java, PostgreSQL, Angular, Selenium, Maven, GIT, JIRA...).

• Good architectural and development principles knowledge.

• Native in French or Dutch with basic proficiency in English.
