About the role

As a Functional Safety Architect, you will ensure that our e-DCT transmission products achieve and maintain automotive safety standards. You will oversee safety concepts, support specialized engineers in executing safety activities, and ensure all functional safety requirements and designs are correctly applied across domains and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the safety concept development for the e-DCT transmission.

• Support FuSa specialists and engineers in execution of safety activities.

• Monitor and report FuSa compliance, ensuring integration in the safety case.

• Provide feedback to FuSa process owners on processes and methods.

• Ensure technical compliance of project outputs.

What we're looking for

We're seeking an expert in automotive safety with a strong technical background.

• Master of Science in Automotive, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.

• Expert knowledge of ISO 26262 and related safety standards.

• Strong experience in hazard analysis, risk assessment, and related methodologies.

• 5+ years of experience in vehicle system architectures and control systems.

• Proficiency in English, both oral and written.

• Experience in electric vehicle applications is a plus.
