Program Management Officer (PMO) – Energy Sector

About the role

As a Program Management Officer (PMO), you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of strategic programs and projects within the biggest energy player group in Belgium. Working closely with program and project managers, you will ensure effective coordination, planning, reporting, and communication across internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and follow up on internal and external stakeholder meetings (e.g. coordination meetings, steering committees, task forces).

• Prepare meeting materials and communication documents.

• Support planning and budgeting processes, including quarterly reporting on programs and related projects.

• Facilitate coordination between topics and experts to align with overall planning and ensure interface management.

• Monitor and coordinate specific workstreams or deliverables.

• Ensure long-term document management

• Contribute to continuous improvement of program management practices.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 3 years in a PMO or similar role; experience within Elia is a plus.

• Familiarity with the energy sector, particularly electricity markets, grid development, or connection processes, is an asset.

• Ideally trilingual (FR/NL/ENG); at minimum fluent in English and either French or Dutch
