About the role

As an IC Package Design Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of developing highly efficient package designs. Your role will involve working on organic substrates and implementing your expertise in packages like flip chip DGA and 2.5D. This position is designed for someone who thrives in a technical environment and is eager to take on challenging design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and design packages focusing on ceramic or organic substrates, including flip chip DGA and 2.5D technologies.

• Utilize Cadence APD design & layout tools and Ansys simulation tools for package design, testing and analysis.

• Conduct SIPI (Signal Integrity/Power Integrity) analysis.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend silicon layout (place & route).

• Communicate progress and results effectively to various stakeholders.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with unique know-how, who is eager to hone his skills even more on the latest cutting-edge tech. Ideally you have:

• A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Nanotech or Material Science.

• At least 9-10 years of experience in ceramic packaging design, bonding methods and SIPI analysis.

• Proficiency in Cadence APD design & layout tools and Ansys simulation tools.

• Knowledge in 2.5D/3D packaging and P&R.

• Strong communication skills in English and a can-do, hands-on mentality.
