VeroTech is looking for a Senior Data Functional Analyst!

About the role

As a Senior Data Functional Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders across Belgian medical insurances to improve the exchange of health and disability-related information.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand and assess their data needs

• Analyze business processes and data flows (incoming/outgoing)

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications

• Design and validate data architecture and models with Data Architects

• Collaborate with Data Governance, BI Technical Leads, and ICT teams

• Ensure GDPR and security compliance in coordination with the DPO

• Participate in testing and validation of data products

• Train and support end users post-delivery

• Maintain ongoing liaison with users to enhance data products

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in data functional analysis

• Strong background in data modeling (conceptual & logical) within a data warehouse (Kimball methodology preferred)

• Experience in designing and analyzing data flows

• Excellent communication in both French and Dutch

• Strong presentation and conceptual thinking skills

• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship building
