Simulation Engineer
As a Simulation Engineer, you'll work with a multidisciplinary team to develop groundbreaking fiber optic telecommunications technologies. Your role involves supporting mechanical design through Finite Element Analysis and precision tolerance calculations, focusing on Datacenter connectivity applications.
Key responsibilities
Conduct Finite Element Analysis and Precision Tolerance calculations for Datacenter connectivity applications
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on advanced technology development projects
If needed, aid with hands-on engineering testing and experimentation in a lab environment to validate the FEA
Job requirements
What we’re looking for
Master/PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience with Finite Element Analysis: Ansys or LSDyna, especially in nonlinear analysis, contact modelling and static analysis of metals, plastics and ceramics of micro – to mm parts
Strong skills in precision tolerance calculations, analytical modeling, and proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably Creo).
Familiarity with molding/manufacturing technologies and data processing/analysis.
Hands-on experience with lab testing and experimentation to validate designs and simulations.
