Are you interested in working in Defense? We’re VeroTech, a Belgian engineering consultancy company specialized in R&D projects, currently looking for talented engineers.

About the role

As an Instrumentation Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and analyzing experimental tests to ensure products meet quality and performance standards. This role requires collaboration with various experts involved in the development of systems, subsystems, and technological components.

Key responsibilities

• Draft test plans and protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

• Plan and organize tasks for the preparatory phase and actual testing, and assign roles to team members.

• Define appropriate instrumentation for physical measurements

• Participate in data post-processing, draft comprehensive test reports, and distribute them to stakeholders.

• Ensure safety for oneself and colleagues during all testing activities.

• Organize Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) before test sessions, invite relevant parties, and ensure readiness for testing.

• Maintain, calibrate, and store test equipment properly, and update instrumentation chains as needed.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree in electromechanical, electronics or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in test equipment (e.g., vibration, thermal, strain gauges, pressure, radar, signal, sound)

• Familiarity with standards and norms for test procedures; knowledge of military standards (e.g., Mil-Std-810) is a plus

• Excellent relational and organizational skills, willingness to travel for test organization and execution

• Proficiency in French and English
