About the role

As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and simulation of complex mechatronic systems. You will work on high-tech, multidisciplinary projects that integrate mechanical, electronic, and software components.

You will also contribute as a Control Systems Engineer, focusing on the development of algorithms and control strategies to regulate system behavior. Your work ensures precise and reliable performance, especially in applications where feedback control is critical.

Key responsibilities

• Design and model innovative mechatronic systems.

• Develop advanced control algorithms to ensure system stability, precision, and robustness.

• Use Matlab/Simulink for modeling, simulation, and performance analysis.

• Create detailed designs using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA).

• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure feasibility and reliability.

• Integrate Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, smart automation) into system designs.

• Define system architectures and contribute to technical specifications.

What we’re looking for

• Engineering Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Control Systems, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in demanding technical environments (automotive, medical, defense, etc.).

• Proficient in Matlab/Simulink, CAD software, and simulation environments.

• Strong understanding of control systems, dynamic modeling, and feedback control.

• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 26262).

• Fluent in French or/and Dutch, with English.

• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, autonomy, and a passion for innovation.
