About the role

We are seeking a High Potential Project Engineer - Energy to oversee the telecommunications aspects of high-voltage infrastructure projects. This role is essential in ensuring that telecom systems are seamlessly integrated into the evolving energy landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design of telecom systems integrated into electrical infrastructure projects.

• Conduct cost assessments and technical feasibility analyses for telecom components.

• Convert project-level requirements into clear telecom specifications.

• Collaborate with telecom infrastructure stakeholders to define optimal solutions and document them in a Telecom Project Brief.

• Guide the engineering team in producing detailed technical drawings and documentation for telecom installations.

• Provide technical support during the construction phase to ensure telecom systems are implemented as designed.

• Draft the telecom sections of procurement and tender documents, ensuring clarity and execution readiness.

• Contribute to the development of new telecom strategies, including participation in pilot programs and evaluation of new technologies.

• Operate within a cross-functional team environment, coordinating resources and timelines effectively.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics (Civil or Industrial).

• Minimum 2 years of experience in telecom or infrastructure projects

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong organizational and planning skills with a high level of accountability.

• Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a plus
