High Potential Energy Project Engineer - Antwerp

Play a leading role in shaping the backbone of Belgium’s future energy system. As a Project Leader in High Voltage Infrastructure, you will be at the forefront of the energy transition—translating ambitious climate goals into tangible, high-impact infrastructure. From the first sketch to the final switch-on, you will guide complex projects that ensure the reliability, sustainability, and innovation of the national grid.

About the role

As a Project engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading end-to-end projects—from concept and design to execution and commissioning—ensuring technical excellence, budget control, and seamless coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Define project objectives and technical requirements.

• Design high-voltage installations and develop preliminary concepts.

• Prepare and manage project budgets and timelines.

• Coordinate on-site execution in collaboration with internal teams and external contractors.

• Draft tender documents and support the procurement process.

• Report to the manager and ensure proper administrative closure of each project.

• Operate autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering (Industrial or Civil).

• Familiarity with high-voltage systems is a strong asset.

• Project management experience is a plus, but motivated graduates are also welcome.

• Strong organizational skills and a sense of responsibility.

• Clear, assertive communicator with a customer-oriented mindset.

• Team player with a problem-solving attitude.

• Fluent in Dutch, with good knowledge of French and English.
