IT Architect - Corporate data and integrations

About the role

As an IT Architect, you will be responsible for crafting superior quality and design of interfaces between applications as well as application to data platforms. You will uphold and enhance integration architecture principles and guidelines. This role requires a keen understanding of the business context in which interfaces and reports operate.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the quality and design of a large number of new application-to-application interfaces within the organization’s integration landscape.

• Ensure the quality and design of multiple application-to-data platform and reporting ETL flows, enabling reliable data integration and reporting capabilities.

• Enforce and optimize IMEC’s data and application integration architecture principles, including reporting standards, conceptual, logical, and physical guidelines, and the use of established integration design patterns.

• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the business context and processes in which the interfaces and reporting solutions operate.

• Act as custodian of the information reference architecture, ensuring alignment with overall business and technology strategy while addressing data challenges across all application assets.

What we're looking for

• Expertise in application integration architecture.

• Knowledge of EAI / ESB technologies.

• Proficient in data architecture with hands-on experience in some of the reporting and ETL solutions like SAS, PowerBI, Databricks, Datafy, Azure Data Factory, and APIs.

• Excellent command of the English language.
