IT Infrastructure Project Manager

As an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end deployment of IT network infrastructure to support the electric bus charging management solution across approximately 50 TEC sites. This strategic role requires both technical and managerial expertise to deliver industrial-grade solutions in a highly collaborative environment.

You will oversee the project from the development of the project management plan to execution, implementation, monitoring, and final delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the full project management plan in line with established governance and methodologies.

  • Design and implement a standardized, scalable deployment strategy for IT infrastructure across all sites.

  • Conduct an inventory of current infrastructure and recommend the best extension approach.

  • Collaborate with internal IT Infrastructure teams to align with architectural guidelines.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical departments and engineering offices regarding infrastructure requirements.

  • Coordinate all phases of project execution: architecture, planning, deployment, testing, post-deployment support, documentation, and operational handover.

  • Supervise internal and external IT providers to ensure synchronized infrastructure rollout with site supervisors.

  • Manage project logistics, procurement, technical execution, and financial follow-up.

  • Provide regular project reporting and document lessons learned to support continuous improvement.

Job requirements

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a seasoned professional with strong infrastructure and leadership capabilities. Here’s what we need:

  • Master’s degree in IT, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience with a Bachelor’s in IT).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management, ideally in industrial environments.

  • Proven experience with LAN/WAN infrastructure deployment in complex, multi-site settings.

  • Project management certification (PMI, Prince2, or equivalent) required.

  • Strong knowledge of ITIL, risk management, and business continuity principles.

  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 is an asset.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Structured analytical mindset with the ability to work autonomously.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); native French is required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willing to travel frequently to TEC depots throughout Wallonia.
