About the role

We are looking for a skilled LabVIEW Software Developer to support a groundbreaking life-science instrumentation project. In this role, you will contribute to the improvement and maintenance of LabVIEW software used in complex scientific instruments. You will collaborate with lab users and data scientists to optimize workflows, resolve software issues, and enhance hardware-data integration.

Key responsibilities

• Improve, update, and maintain complex LabVIEW-based software systems

• Collaborate closely with lab users to streamline and enhance scientific workflows

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to instrumentation control

• Work with data scientists to develop robust interfaces between hardware and data processing modules

• Ensure software performance and reliability within a regulated environment

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient LabVIEW expert with experience in scientific or R&D environments. Here is what we need:

• Proven experience in LabVIEW development (Core 1, 2, 3, Performance, OOP)

• Familiarity with TestStand, DIAdem, and Git

• Additional experience is a strong plus: Actor Framework, FPGA, PyTorch, Certified LabVIEW Architect

• Knowledge of other programming languages is an advantage

• Previous experience in life-sciences instrumentation or R&D environments is a bonus

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
