Job description
As a Senior Lead E&I Engineer, you manage electrical and instrumentation projects from concept to delivery.
Embark on a journey to lead multidisciplinary industrial investment projects with budgets up to €30 million. You work in close collaboration with the Project Manager to ensure successful project outcomes, offering technical leadership in E&I disciplines. This is not solely a design role but requires you to guide and align technical efforts across various disciplines to achieve project goals.
About the role
Based in Olen, you will serve as the technical discipline lead for electrical and instrumentation within large-scale projects. Your role includes the strategic planning and execution of E&I tasks, ensuring project success from feasibility studies through commissioning and handover.
You play a key role in making informed technical decisions, meticulously considering factors such as environmental impact and regulation compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Independently lead the E&I discipline from the ground up, ensuring technical excellence and project integration.
- Make critical decisions on materials and applications, ensuring adherence to environmental standards.
- Collaborate effectively with internal project teams and external partners for cohesive project delivery.
- Interpret and assess complex electrical diagrams and calculations.
- Ensure compliance with ATEX regulations.
- Support process installation projects, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.
- Travel occasionally within Europe and Asia for project monitoring and follow-up.
Job requirements
What we're looking for
We seek a proactive leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for electrical and instrumentation excellence in the process industry.
- Master's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- At least 3 years in a leading E&I role within process industry projects.
- 7+ years as an E&I Engineer in the process industry.
- Proficient in industrial instrumentation and ATEX compliance.
- Competent in interpreting electrical diagrams and cable calculations.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to work primarily onsite in Olen.
