About the role

As a Maintenance Engineer Utilities, you will analyze maintenance and failure data such as MTBF, MTTR, and OEE to enhance operational efficiency. You'll be responsible for developing, drafting, and adjusting maintenance strategies, whether preventive, predictive, or reliability-centered (RCM), to safeguard the continuity and quality of our maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze maintenance and failure data (MTBF, MTTR, OEE).

• Develop, draft, and adjust maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, RCM).

• Safeguard the continuity and quality of the maintenance process.

• Identify and implement performance improvements for utility installations.

• Create lists of critical spare parts.

• Provide support for Root Cause Analyses (RCA) after breakdowns.

• Act as the owner and executor of Management of Change (MOC) processes.

• Serve as the technical point of contact for modifications or renewals of installations.

• Contribute to tenders and supplier selection for maintenance services.

• Document technical standards/instructions and optimize work processes.

What we're looking for

VeroTech seeks a proactive electromechanical engineer who thrives in an industrial environment. Ideally you have these skills:

• Master’s degree in electromechanics with practical experience with machinery maintenance on an industrial scale.

• Knowledge of utility systems (HVAC, water, compressed air, steam, electricity, sprinklers).

• Experience with RCM (reliability centred maintenance), RCA (root cause analysis), and performance management.

• Knowledge of SAP PM is a plus.

• Native speaker of Dutch and good command of English.
