About the role
As a Manufacturing Configuration Engineer, you'll be responsible for verifying the completeness of M-BOMs before they are officialised in the PLM system and communicated to the ERP system (OCM). Your role ensures that product baselines are registered properly during development and validation, coordinating M-BOM changes from development through to industrialization.
Key responsibilities
Verify M-BOM content and structure, ensuring alignment with the Engineering BOM.
Ensure required documents are approved before release in PLM (Windchill).
Support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and assist with change implementation.
Check correct transfer of M-BOM data to ERP (OCM).
Contribute to creation and maintenance of baselines and product variants.
Communicate and coordinate with logistics, production, and other teams.
Job requirements
What we're looking for
Degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Production Engineering.
Less than 5 years of experience.
Proficiency with PLM systems, ideally Windchill.
Knowledge of ERP workflows.
Experience in configuration and change management processes.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication and soft skills.
French proficient, English basic.
