Manufacturing Configuration Manager

About the role

In this role, you will oversee the MBOM processes for new products and existing portfolio maintenance. You’re going to verify the completeness of MBOMs and ensure they are properly documented and communicated within our systems. By leveraging the PTC Windchill and CAD tool Creo, you'll facilitate seamless integration with ECR tasks, logistics, production, and purchasing.

Key responsibilities

• Own the M-BOM creation, verification, and maintenance, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with the Engineering BOM (E-BOM).

• Lead the release and validation process in PLM (Windchill), ensuring all documents are approved and compliant with internal and customer standards.

• Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), coordinate cross-functional implementation, and drive change execution decisions (activation dates, stock obsolescence, retrofits).

• Ensure accurate and timely transfer of M-BOM data to ERP (OCM) and resolve discrepancies with logistics or production.

• Define and maintain M-BOM baselines at key project or contract milestones; manage customer-specific variants.

• Drive continuous improvement of configuration and M-BOM processes, including standards, workflows, and best practices.

• Act as a primary interface between engineering, production, logistics, and purchasing; mentor junior team members and provide guidance on complex issues.

What we're looking for

• More than 5 years of experience in product and process development teams.

• Proficiency in PLM systems, ideally Windchill, and understanding of ERP workflows.

• Strong configuration and change management skills.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

• Good French proficiency.
