Project Manager – Telecom sector

Our client is currently navigating a significant transformation from a hybrid fiber-coax network into a distinct entity. As a Project Manager, you will be at the heart of these challenging transformative efforts. The role will encompass engineering, stakeholder engagement, and legal frameworks in the pursuit of strategic network initiatives.

About the role

You will be the driving force behind structuring, leading, and delivering projects within the company’s domain. This includes network and data segmentation and transferring operational responsibilities. This role requires shifting between technology, processes, customer impact, and legal considerations.

Key responsibilities

• Translate strategic network decisions into concrete roadmaps, deliverables, and risk assessments.

• Collaborate on high-level designs and guide the team in crafting detailed technical plans.

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams, aligning various interests and perspectives.

• Serve as a central communication point for all stakeholders.

• Manage the practical execution of migrations, network segmentation, and IT adjustments.

• Oversee project budgets, reporting transparently to management and technical leads.

• Initiate solutions proactively and manage escalations effectively.

What we're looking for

We seek a professional experienced in managing intricate projects within complex environments.

• Master in ICT, Engineering, or equivalent through experience.

• Strong knowledge of telecom networks (Coax, Fiber, HFC) or eagerness to learn swiftly.

• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a complex or regulated context.

• Proficient in Dutch and English, with French as a plus.

• Analytical thinker with a hands-on approach; proactive in addressing issues.
