Mixed Signal Design Engineer

About the role

You'll take technical ownership in the development of a mixed signal IC. This involves defining and designing the IC's top level by specifying the digital/analog and coordinating with subsystem designers, including external partners. You'll also be responsible for top-level simulations and the overall integration process, focusing on product engineering and manufacturability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead top-level design and integration of mixed-signal ICs, coordinating cross-functional teams.

• Define system architecture and analog/digital specifications, guiding subsystem designers.

• Perform top-level simulations and verification using industry-standard tools (e.g., Cadence MMSIM).

• Oversee top level integration, including pad ring, ESD-measures, layout coordination, and tape-out.

• Ensure design manufacturability and support post-silicon validation and lab characterization.

• Drive documentation, continuous improvement, and technical alignment with stakeholders.

What we're looking for

We seek a proactive and skilled engineer with a strong background in mixed-signal design. Ideal candidates possess:

• A Master’s or PhD in electronics, paired with 5 to 8 years of experience in mixed chip design, primarily analog.

• Proficiency in Cadence tools & ESD-testing.

• Capability to guide junior engineers in design and layout.

• Expertise in translating specifications into design.

• Willingness to work 4 days per week onsite.
