About the role

You will develop and manage simulation models, utilizing object-oriented MATLAB to create simulation libraries for compressor systems' mechanical, thermodynamic, and control aspects. Integrating numerical simulations into the workflow, you'll work with other engineers to optimize designs before prototypes are built. As an MBE ambassador, you will provide guidance on MBE tools, champion best simulation practices, and collaborate internationally to ensure modeling aligns with broader strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

- Develop & Maintain Simulation Models: Build, calibrate, and maintain digital twin models.

- Embed Simulation in Design: Integrate numerical simulations into product development.

- Digitalization & Collaboration: Guide and train on MBE tools, champion best practices, and align modeling initiatives with broader strategies.

What we're looking for

We're seeking a model-based engineer with a strong foundation in mechanics & thermodynamics, experience in simulation and modeling, and advanced MATLAB skills.

- Master's degree (or higher) in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, software, or related field).

- 3–5 years of experience in simulation and modelling.

- Advanced MATLAB skills with object-oriented programming and simulation toolboxes.

- Experience with MBE frameworks or digital twin methodologies is advantageous.

- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
