Job description

Join VeroTech as a Numerical Simulation Engineer for CFD and Multiphysics and become part of our community where innovation and people come first. Take on exciting technical challenges, develop your expertise and create solutions that drive progress across several industries.

About the role

As a VeroTech consultant, you contribute to the design, optimization and validation of complex critical systems through advanced numerical simulation. The work covers CFD, multiphysics and FEM analyses of fluid flow, heat transfer, fluid-structure interaction and structural behavior in an industrial engineering environment.

You collaborate with R&D, design, production, testing and data science stakeholders to connect simulation, experimental data and system performance. Your analyses support reliable technical decisions, tool improvement and innovative approaches such as automation, reduced-order modeling and AI/ML-enabled simulation workflows.

Key responsibilities

  • Model and analyze compressible, incompressible, turbulent and multiphase flows for aerodynamics, propulsion and thermal management

  • Run CFD studies with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, STAR-CCM+ or comparable simulation codes

  • Couple multiphysics phenomena such as fluid-structure interaction, thermal-mechanical behavior and aeroacoustics with tools such as ANSYS Multiphysics or COMSOL

  • Perform FEM analyses to assess structural integrity, stress, deformation and fatigue of mechanical components interacting with fluid flows

  • Validate simulations against experimental or analytical data and communicate results through technical reports, presentations and project reviews

Job requirements

What we're looking for

  • Master’s or Engineering Degree in Fluid Mechanics, Aeronautics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Applied Physics

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in numerical simulation with a CFD focus in an industrial or academic environment, including internships

  • Proficiency in at least one CFD tool such as OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, with knowledge of turbulence models, numerical methods and meshing tools

  • Experience with multiphysics or FEM is a strong plus, and knowledge of scripting, HPC/Linux environments, CAD preparation, version control, optimization methods or relevant standards is advantageous

  • Technical English at minimum B2 level is required for international collaboration, French is an added value.
