About the role

In this VeroTech consultancy role, you will drive Lean-based operational improvement across product, process and organisational challenges. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to identify root causes, remove waste and build a stronger quality culture while keeping operations agile.

You will also support the rollout of new ways of working, such as S&OP or similar frameworks, by breaking down silos, analysing audit and performance data, and turning findings into practical action plans. The role focuses on measurable improvements and better client interactions in a complex industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in applying Lean methodologies to root cause analysis and corrective actions

  • Build and run a rapid-response tiger team to resolve urgent product, process and organisational issues

  • Coordinate efforts to reduce response times by 50% or more and streamline the handling of client concerns

  • Support the fast-tracking of new accreditations while maintaining a progressive, quality-focused culture

  • Support the rollout of new organisational frameworks and processes, including S&OP, to break down silos

  • Analyse audit and performance data to develop practical action plans and spot trends

  • Champion QA standards and a strong quality mindset across the organisation

Job requirements

What we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced leader with Lean project delivery, strong team management and a clear quality mindset. The must-have experience below is essential for success in this VeroTech consultancy role.

  • A bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; a master's degree is advantageous

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading practical Lean projects on the field

  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects

  • Minimum 5 years of expertise in Lean methodologies and 8D Problem Solving

  • Experience in operational excellence, process improvement or a comparable role in aerospace, automotive or a similar field

  • A proven track record of driving cultural and structural transformation within an organisation

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities

  • Familiarity with certification processes and quality management systems; foundational electro-mechanical knowledge is highly beneficial
