About the role

As an operational efficiency leader at VeroTech, you will drive operational excellence in a multisite technical environment. You will guide multidisciplinary teams in applying Lean methods, structured problem solving and practical corrective actions to improve products, processes and organisational ways of working.

You will support fast responses to urgent operational challenges, strengthen the quality mindset across teams and contribute to new organisational frameworks such as S&OP. Your work combines analysis, leadership and hands-on improvement to deliver measurable performance gains and stronger collaboration across functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in applying Lean methodologies for root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

• Coordinate rapid improvement actions to reduce response times for product, process and organisational issues

• Form and guide a rapid-response team to address operational concerns with decisive actions

• Support the implementation of new organisational frameworks and processes, including S&OP

• Analyse audit results and performance data to identify trends and define strategic action plans

• Promote quality standards, norms and a continuous improvement mindset across the organisation

• Help accelerate accreditation-related activities and support a culture focused on tangible results

What we're looking for

We are looking for a hands-on improvement leader who combines operational excellence expertise with strong team leadership, analytical thinking and the ability to drive change in complex technical environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field is required

• Master’s degree is advantageous

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading practical Lean projects in the field

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects

• Demonstrable experience in operational excellence, process improvement or a comparable role in aerospace, automotive, defense or a similar field

• Expertise in Lean methodologies and 8D/9S Problem Solving, with at least 5 years of relevant experience

• Proven track record in driving cultural and structural transformation within an organisation

• Familiarity with certification processes, quality management systems and continuous improvement methods such as Six Sigma is beneficial
