Job description

Join VeroTech as a PCB Layout Design Engineer and become part of our community where innovation and people come first. Take on exciting technical challenges, develop your expertise and create solutions that drive progress across several industries.

About the role

As a VeroTech consultant, you contribute to the layout design of complex printed circuit assemblies for advanced HF/RF electronic devices. You focus on manufacturability, material and equipment constraints, interchangeability, strength-to-weight efficiency, specifications and cost, and maintain robust technical execution.

You work closely with circuit designers and project stakeholders to optimise layouts against power and area targets across analog and digital PCB applications. The role combines detailed board layout, design verification and autonomous planning within project planning constraints, with regular feedback to the project lead.

Key responsibilities

  • Create layouts of complex printed circuit assemblies and detailed parts of devices, mechanisms and structures

  • Review printed wiring board layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, standards compliance, specifications, calculations and dimensioning

  • Optimise PCB layouts with circuit designers to improve power and area performance

  • Validate layouts through DRC, LVS, DFM, EM and IR checks to support high-quality full-custom design

  • Plan and prioritise layout tasks autonomously and provide layout feedback to the project lead
