PCB Layout Engineer

About the role

Your mission is to realize layouts of complex printed circuit assemblies and detailed parts of devices, mechanisms, and structures. You'll be responsible for checking completed printed wiring board layouts and drawings for clarity, conformity to standards, and correctness of calculations and dimensions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop layouts of complex printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies, including detailed components of devices and mechanisms.

• Review and validate PCB layouts and drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards and specifications.

• Collaborate closely with circuit designers to optimize layouts for power and area efficiency.

• Perform layout validation through DRC, LVS, DFM, EM, and IR checks, ensuring high-quality analog and digital PCB layouts.

• Work according to project planning, providing feedback to the project leader and organizing tasks autonomously.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in layout design.

• Proven expertise in full custom layout design.

• Understanding of analog HF/RF circuit design.

• Familiarity with fabrication techniques and limitations.

• Experience using Cadence or similar layout software.

• Knowledge of EMI/EMC constraints.

• Autonomy, versatility, and flexibility.

• Rigorousness, commitment, accountability, and excellent team spirit and communication skills.

• Proficiency in French, Dutch, or English.
