PLC Engineer

About the role

The role involves studying existing situations to prepare detailed functional analyses, developing and designing technical solutions, creating software, and overseeing system testing and commissioning. In addition, you will handle project documentation, participate in stand-by duties, and offer support and guidance to clients post-delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct functional analyses of existing systems.

• Develop and design technical solutions.

• Create, test, and commission software.

• Manage project documentation.

• Participate in stand-by duties.

• Advocate for process standardisation.

• Offer post-delivery advice and support to clients.

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of experience in industrial automation.

• Electromechanics knowledge with a passion for automation.

• Expertise with Siemens PLCs: S7 300, 400, 1500.

• Proficiency with HMI: SCADA, Siemens WinCC, and TIA Portal.

• Personal drive and independent work capability.

• Strong team spirit and communication skills.

• Dutch native or bilingual proficiency and English.
