Power System Expert

About the role

In this role, you will execute advanced power network analyses, focusing on load flow, steady-state studies, and voltage and dynamic stability analyses. You will be responsible for creating accurate network models and validating input data. Using your advanced knowledge of power system simulation tools, you will contribute to both analytical and operational activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced power network analyses and validate models.

• Contribute to analytical and operational tasks using simulation tools.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for analytical workflows.

• Provide expert technical support and coaching to engineers and analysts.

• Collaborate to ensure timely, high-quality technical outputs.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a seasoned Power System Expert with a background in power engineering and a minimum of 8 years of experience. You should have proven expertise in working with Transmission System Operators or similar organizations. In addition, we're seeking:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Specialization in Power System / Transmission Networks.

• Advanced hands-on experience with PowerFactory from DigSILENT.

• Strong Python programming and automation skills.

• Ability to work independently in complex, high-criticality environments.

• Proficiency in English and either Dutch or French.
