About the role

In this position, the Project Coordinator will develop detailed plans and manage the construction of electrical installations for instrumentation, control, and power within nuclear automation systems. The candidate will serve as the single point of contact between the NPA team and the RECUMO project manager, ensuring smooth project execution and communication.

Key responsibilities

- Develop, track, and report on detailed project schedules in close collaboration with internal and external parties.

- Plan tasks and resources in line with the global master RECUMO schedule.

- Advise the head of NPA on resource needs during different project phases.

- Monitor and report on project budgets and expenditures.

- Identify risks or delays and communicate them to stakeholders promptly.

- Facilitate clear communication across all parties involved.

- Organize regular team meetings and prepare comprehensive progress reports.

- Maintain and archive technical and administrative documentation.

- Ensure compliance with RECUMO quality standards.

- Provide practical support during critical phases like installation, testing, and relocation.

Job requirements

What we're looking for

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in Industrial or Engineering Sciences (electromechanics, electrical engineering, automation, or mechanics) and a minimum of 5 years experience in project management within an engineering context.

- Strong coordination skills with proven teamwork experience.

- Expertise in project scheduling and deviation management.

- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project).

- Experience in nuclear projects is beneficial; interest in nuclear technology is essential.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team with maturity, flexibility, and responsibility.

- Initiative and hands-on mentality.

- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, electrical schematics, and 3D models.

- Fluency in Dutch and English.
