Job description

As a Project Leader specializing in electrical infrastructure, you will lead substations projects across Brussels and Flanders. Your role will encompass planning, design, and management of projects ranging from 36 kV to 380 kV, ensuring successful execution and completion.

About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Project Leader where you'll be responsible for defining, studying, and designing electrical infrastructure projects. From conception to commissioning and administrative closure, your leadership will ensure project success.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate on-site project execution, in collaboration with relevant entities (suppliers, contractors, …).

  • Define, study, and design projects, ensuring their successful implementation up to commissioning and administrative closure.

  • Develop preliminary designs, budgets, and project schedules, taking into account requirements and available resources.

  • Manage project planning, budgets, and reporting to team leaders.

  • Contribute to the preparation of tender documents and actively participate in the procurement process.

Job requirements

What we're looking for

  • Civil or industrial engineer background in electrical engineering or electromechanics.

  • Experience in project management (young graduates also welcome).

  • Knowledge of high voltage systems.

  • Strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills.

  • Confident and assertive communicator, client-oriented, values teamwork, and resourceful.

  • Excellent command of both national languages: Dutch and French.

  • Residing between Brussels, Leuven and Antwerp.
