Join us as a skilled Project Manager to spearhead the relocation of our technical facilities. This pivotal role ensures seamless transition with minimal disruption to the operational teams.

About the role

This role involves defining and refining the project scope and establishing a detailed schedule in collaboration with both the facilities team and the community of operational users. Your management will be integral to ensuring that ongoing missions retain their efficiency throughout the relocation process.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and finetune the scope of the relocation project.

  • Manage the project schedule to minimize impact on ongoing projects.

  • Minimize equipment downtime during the move.

  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of the relocation while engaging all stakeholders effectively.

  • Take responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Job requirements

What we're looking for

  • Prior involvement in technical move projects.

  • Proven ability to plan, schedule, and execute projects while monitoring budgets.

  • Experience in change management: aligning stakeholders, communicating benefits, and handling resistance.

  • Familiarity with lab equipment, material setup and electrical connections; technical expertise is helpful but not mandatory.

  • Preferably 1-5 years of working experience.

  • English required; Dutch is a plus.
