Project Manager - Senior

As a Project Manager at VeroTech, you take full ownership of assigned projects from inception to completion. Your scope include both large-scale and smaller ventures, ranging from new initiatives to expansions.

About the role

You oversee all aspects of project management, ensuring projects adhere to scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards. You coordinate engineering phases—from basic to detailed—through to execution and commissioning.

As a key player, you manage project layout, determine process parameters in consultation with production and R&D teams, and provide input for P&IDs and design. Your role emphasize safety, ergonomics, automation, maintenance, and energy efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the scope, budget, timeline, and quality of projects from A to Z
• Coordinate engineering (basic and detailed), execution, and commissioning
• Responsible for project layout, determining process parameters in consultation with production and R&D colleagues, providing input for P&IDs, and design
• Manage and monitor the process-related part within their projects
• Focus on safety, ergonomics, automation, maintenance, and energy efficiency
• Collaborate with the purchasing department for components and services
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (internal and external)
• Communicate with internal stakeholders
• Coordinate site and execution
• Organize the commissioning phase

What we're looking for

We seek a seasoned Project Manager with a strong engineering background.
- Master's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical, or metallurgical) or equivalent through experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an end-to-end Project Manager in multi-disciplinary projects
- Relevant experience in chemistry, metallurgy, or machine construction sectors
- Proficiency in reading and drawing P&IDs
- Strong technical insight
- VCA VOL certification; Project Management certification is a strong advantage
- Fluent in Dutch; other languages are a plus
