About the role

As a Python Automation Engineer, you will be at the forefront of a Python Test Automation Project. You will delve into the intricacies of current manual workflows, translating them into automated processes to optimize throughput and stability across multiple test stations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and map existing manual workflows for multiple test stations.

• Develop and implement robust automation sequences using Python.

• Integrate and control electronic lab equipment including power supplies, signal generators, and measurement instruments.

• Automate data acquisition and develop communication routines.

• Validate, troubleshoot, and enhance automated setups for performance.

• Collaborate with test engineers and production teams to facilitate a seamless transition.

What we're looking for

• Master's degree in electronics or software

• 5 years of experience in test and software development

• Extensive Python expertise for automation and hardware control

• Deep understanding of test benches and electronic instrumentation

• Proven experience with automated measurement setups

• Excellent debugging skills

• Experience in imaging and sensor technology is advantageous

• Proactive, structured, and comfortable in a high-tech environment
