About the role

As an R&D Engineer, you will be instrumental in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting measurement and test environments to support the development of innovative imaging systems, including hyperspectral and lidar systems. You will work extensively on collecting, managing, and ensuring the quality of experimental data while leveraging AI-supported methods for data analysis and interpretation. Your contributions will enhance our testing workflows and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct experimental testing and validation for advanced imaging systems.

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot measurement environments.

• Collect, manage, and ensure the quality of experimental data.

• Analyze and interpret data using AI-supported methods.

• Document results and contribute to the continuous improvement of workflows.

What we're looking for

We seek passionate engineers with strong experimental and laboratory skills to join our team. You should possess:

• Expertise in setting up and executing laboratory tests.

• Solid understanding of optical imaging technologies and measurement principles.

• Experience with photonic integrated circuits is an asset.

• Knowledge of data acquisition, processing, and ensuring data quality.

• An analytical mindset and the ability to interpret results.

• Familiarity with software tools like Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and version control systems like Git.

• Proficiency in English.
