R&D Project Leader

Join our innovative team at VeroTech as an R&D Project Leader! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in strengthening relationships between research centers, academia, SMEs, and the European designer ecosystem, with occasional travel to facilitate these connections.

About the role

As an R&D Project Leader, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to implement the NanoIC strategy across R&D activities. Your responsibilities will include managing access requests, fostering relationships with key partners, and representing our services at various events. You will also drive improvements in service quality and speed, ensuring alignment with Europractice and EU Chip Design Platform initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of the NanoIC strategy across R&D activities.

• Track and manage access requests to the R&D team.

• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with academia, SMEs, and EU platforms.

• Represent NanoIC services at events and meetings.

• Monitor service quality and delivery speed; drive improvements.

• Align with Europractice and EU Chip Design Platform initiatives.

• Report progress and escalate issues where needed.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a driven leader with a strong academic background and professional experience in R&D or related fields.

• Master’s or PhD degree in microelectronics with a first experience in project leadership.

• Excellent communication, enthusiasm, and drive.

• A born organiser who follows up on several ideas at once.

• Strong network-building skills.

• Experience with service improvement initiatives is a nice to have.

• Native proficiency in English.
