Regional manager

About the role

As a Regional Manager, you act as the key link between municipalities, utility companies, and our organization. You proactively maintain relationships with cities and municipalities and serve as an ambassador for VeroTech. In addition, you ensure seamless end-to-end project follow-up, making effective use of reporting systems and project management tools.

Key responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Proactively maintain relationships with cities and municipalities.

• Participate in quarterly meetings with utility companies and local authorities.

• Inform external stakeholders about planned activities and upcoming projects.

Project Management

• Ensure end-to-end follow-up of projects in collaboration with other utility companies.

• Use reporting systems and project management tools to monitor progress and performance.

• Perform financial reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.

• Identify deviations and formulate improvement proposals where necessary.

Administration

• Analyze and follow up on synergy requests.

• Handle complaints and inquiries from cities and municipalities.

• Report on results and foster collaboration and engagement within the team.

• Organize and lead the weekly team meeting, ensuring the involvement of the appropriate stakeholders.

What we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced professional who can work independently and possesses strong communication skills.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role or industry (e.g., telecommunications or utilities).

• Valid Category B driver's license.

• Willingness to travel frequently within the region.

• Fluent in Dutch.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently and remain effective under pressure.

• A proactive self-starter who learns quickly and is not afraid to ask questions.

• Strong organizational and planning skills.

• Strong analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach.

• Assertive and capable of identifying and driving structural improvements.

Nice to Have

• Experience with coaxial and fiber networks.

• Experience coaching, coordinating, or managing people.

• Experience in the telecommunications industry.
